Although the environment surrounding our group has changed drastically, we have been able to earn the trust of our customers as a result of our unchanging stance of “speedy decision-making and action” and “service business as a means of manufacturing with unparalleled short lead-time response. All group companies will continue to work together to “strengthen manufacturing”.
The market for PWBs, our main product, is rapidly expanding in the semiconductor, electronics, automotive, and industrial equipment fields. In order to respond to changes in the market environment toward Industry 4.0 such as 5G/IoT and expansion of global capital investment mainly in the manufacturing industry, the Group has formulated and is promoting the “Medium-Term Management Plan 2021-2025. Aiming for annual sales of 100 billion yen or more, we will focus on technological innovations such as high multilayer PCBs and high-density interconnect(“HDI”) to become “Kyoden with technological strength.
Moreover, in the industrial materials field, we intend to maintain stable growth in the social infrastructure SPR business and the glass fiber business, which supports the electronics sector.
In the midst of a drastically changing business environment, the Group will focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to improve the relationship of trust with all stakeholders, including shareholders, and promote CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities based on corporate ethics.
